I write, I edit, I travel.
I write books about wars and refugees, about love and hate, about human rights and humanitarian action.
I am the co-founder and editor-in-chief of Revista 5W, a magazine of narrative journalism and photography.
I travel to dozens of countries to cover humanitarian crises and conflicts. My work has been published in 5W, The New York Times, Gatopardo — and elsewhere.
Where does this passion come from?
I was born in El Prat de Llobregat (Barcelona) in 1983. I studied a degree in Journalism and later earned a PhD in Comparative Literature with a thesis on the latest poems and the paintings of Rabindranath Tagore.
For six years I was correspondent with the Spanish news agency EFE agency in India and Pakistan.
For three years I worked for Doctors Without Borders, following emergencies in Africa and the Middle East.
For more than a decade I have been an independent journalist.
Forever I have been interested in journalism and literature.
